February 2025 Member Update

Dear Women United Members + Supporters,

As we step into February, Women United is more energized than ever by our shared commitment to advancing the wellbeing of single mothers and their children. Whether we’re expanding opportunities for mothers, supporting initiatives that make children healthier and happier, or building connections with one another, our collective impact continues to grow. This important work would not be possible without you.

Women United Holiday Drive

Thank you to everyone who participated in Women United’s annual Holiday Drive! Members donated and wrapped hundreds of presents to bring holiday cheer to 32 single moms and their children. These single moms are participants in Project WIN (The Opportunity Alliance) and MomCore (YCCAC), which are programs that receive support from Women United. Thank you for brightening their winters!

We are grateful to the following companies and groups for hosting gift drives: Baker Newman Noyes, Dead River Company, Haley’s Metal Shop, IDEXX, M&T Bank, MEMIC, the Sand Witches volunteer group, TD Bank, United Insurance, and WeMaax Consulting. Special thanks to Kennebunk Savings and WEX for hosting gift-wrapping events, in addition to gift drives.
